hi there.
can any one advise me on the hip scoring on a german shepherd. what is a good score. how is this score found, i know its a x ray but what are they lokking at?

Hi Donna. A good hipscore on a gsd is a total of 19 or below (the scores of both hips are added together - 0:0 is perfect). The KC/BVA panel measure the distances and angles between the various parts of the hip joint for their calculations.
