I am the proud owner of a 14 week old Shih tzu, who is a crafty little so an so.

Tonight she had an accident in the house, she messed, not in her usual spot, at bottom of the stairs, which when she does it there she "eats it" YUCk. Not tonight oh no, tonight the little minx decided to go behind the door!! And of course I had to go into kitchen but did I see this "present" she left me? Noooo, I smeared it into carpet.

Now can someone explain why not eat it when its behind the door like she normally does? (Not that I am encouraging her eating it, you understansd)

LOL.... perhaps she thought she'd 'hidden' it well enough so didn't have to get rid of the evidence! :D If Molly, 8 months, has an 'accident' in the kitchen whilst the back door is open (she is really lazy sometimes) she will pick it up and take it just outside the door,  but there is always evidence it was in the kitchen first :P  little minx isn't the term I use :D :D

Puppies, never realised what monsters they are....

Can anyone explain why they dig the floor? Breeze was in her play pen in the kitchen doing her normal nutty stuff (big pen) when suddenly I heard this scratching on the floor (its wood laminate). I can understand when she is outside in the garden, but in the house! whats that all about?

sarah leo is 18 months now and he still digs the floor usually when he wants something or hes playing - if you stamp your foot he digs the floor in return or if he wants food or water he sometimes digs at the bowls and kicks them round the floor

Mine scratch the cement between the slabs in the garden. I don't mind cos it 'files' their claws, just have to watch they don't split any. (their claws not the slabs :P  They also do it to the tiles on the kitchen floor.
