Hello to everyone. It's been a while since we had a puppy at home, so I have to admitt I kind of forgot certain things. I forgot how much work it is, I forgot how it feel waking up at 3am just to take him out...lol.... I also forgot how much fun it can be. But there's one thing I'm sure at least one of you can try and answer.  When are dogs fully grown. And I'm talking about the physical part of growing up. I know mostly they mature by the time they're about 2 years old. I'm talking about height and weight. Does it also depend on the breed?
My Chihuahua puppy is 4 months old and just over 1 kg and I'm kind of wondering how big he will get.....

The breeder of your pup would be the best person to answer your queries :)

That would be my first thought as well, but there's a slight language barrier between my breeder and me. She's a great breeder, recomended by an offivial Chihuahua club, but unfortunately when it comes to anything more than basic comunication between us it's a bit difficult. That's why I thought it was a good idea to get that information from you guys...... i'm pretty sure people here do have experiences with puppies.

In that case I hope someone with some Chihuahua experience comes along soon who can advise :) I'm afraid I don't know much about Chi's as large breeds are more my thing but it is my understanding that the little breeds will be more or less fully grown by 6-7 months. The breed standard on the Kennel Club site will give you an idea of the average height/weight of an adult Chihuahua.

Your could try contacting the Chihuahua Club who would perhaps put you in touch with a "chattier" ;) breeder nearby.
