My 6 month old intact boxer who is white (docked) is continously being attacked by other dogs. When approached by other dogs he instantly goes on his back and then the other dog either growls or attacks him.  The most recent attack was from another male boxer who came flying out of his garden and ran up behind us and flipped my dog over by the throat.  I have spoken to the vet who has watched my pup and says he is giving out all the right signals. Then he got attacked by a lurcher in the waiting room infront of the vet. I have also spoken with his trainer, who has also said he is giving out the right signals.

My question is this, how do I stop/hold back the other dog from attacking mine. As he has already had his nose split by a Jack Russell and a 3 inch cut on his head from a Minature Schnauzer.  I have cuts and bruises from these dog attacks.

With a big stick and heavy boots. You could end up with an aggressive dog due to this as he will think all dogs are up for the fight Ive already got this prob but the people who know everything will be along soon with all the answers. They are busy on a similar post.

My male dog seems to attract unwanted attention too, mainly from other entire males. He has never actually been attacked yet, just lots of growling, posturing and lunging, but he is a very sensitive soul and t is making him ver wary of other dogs. My trainer didn't believe me until one night a dog at training class had come onto our class, having never met murphy before. The minute i walking in with murphy this dog (entire male) started on him. However the point to this story is that this dog had never been like that with any other dogs before. I think it may be something to do with the entire male thing, as bitches and neutered males are fine with him.
