HI There, anyone got any advice - I have a 12.5 week old puppy who had his last immunisation last Friday and has not been out apart from in our garden as I am aware that it takes 2 weeks after the last vaccination jab. I did give him a worming tablet today though. Tonight he has been sick for the first time since I've had him (which is 1.5 weeks) He is shaking and has vommitted twice. He is still quite alert and wagging his tail. Also over the last two days he has been rubbing his tummy on the grass and his groin area does look a little red and irratible - anyone think this is connected to his sickness. Obviously I will take him to the vet tomorrow but wondered if anyone could reassure me tonight.
He is a cocker spaniel puppy
Hi has he been eating grass, but it soulds like it may be the tablet you gave him, i to keep cocker spaniels and they will eat any thing, just keep an eye on him untill the morring, if he is still not right take him to the vets. regards debbie.
Thanks for that - you are right he has also been eating the grass, I will only take him into the garden for his business the next few days and keep him on his lead so I can ensure he dosen't eat the grass or anything else. The shaking has stopped now and he appears to be back to his usual fun self however, he is scratching and licking his groin area. What do tics look like ? I can't see anything moving on him but there is a couple of bumpy red patches
Hi you cant really see mights unless you have got a tellicope, has he been laying on stinger, or been near a hedgehog and picked up some of there fleas. Try giving him a bath, and rub a little bit of e45 ceam on his belly, good luck debbie. ps. its poss that his been bitten by red ants. sorry tic look like warts.
