Can anyone tell me anything about this show. Its only down the road from me but i've never been. I know pastoral is on sunday and gundog on monday (my two favourite groups.) and i was wondering what time does do the general public arrive? Does anyone know what time the BC's, tollers and yankees are judged? Thanks in advance from a complete newbie to the show world!
Lucy

Judging starts at 10.00am both days BCs are in ring 17on Sunday and Yankees are in ring 31 on Monday. Tollers are in ring 18 but they follow Gorden Setters and Hungarian WH Vizsla.

Why am I up at 6am after staying up till 11pm to make sure my Cav's coat was drying properly flat?? After he's dry and allowed off the grooming table I have to follow him round combing his haunches flat every time he lies down! I must be mad!

If only!! Chucked out with both dogs - the puppy doesn't surprise me, but no way should my dog have been chucked out in his class! Had to go shopping to cheer myself up. Ah well, there's always next time! :-(
I so want to go to see the Tollers! I was hoping to meet up with someone to discuss being put on a waiting list, and there's no more shows I can get to this year!
Because Gundogs are on the monday, dad's at work with the car so I can't get there.
Good luck everyone who's going (or are there today!)

Try running around in soft canvas beige shoes and a beige suit with a small puppy that jumps up - between the soaked muddy shoes and the muddy pawprints half way up my thighs I was NOT looking smart for long!! :-)
What was with those rings anyway? I suppose they couldn't do much about the little sand and gravel hillocks everywhere, but couldn't they have mowed the grass??

i went to it yesterday we got third out of six:)

Oh do I take it the ground is all soggy and I would be best only being in my suit while in the ring!? Me and my brother are in the 2nd and 3rd handling class starting at 10 and we also have open dog, post grad and limit bitch! ARGH Have decided Dad will show HIS dog! (yea I did all the work to qualify him and now he wants to take him back!!!!) LOL
Now to think about what to wear...does anyone know where I could find out about the weather for tomorrow!?
Oh do you need a car park pass to get into the carpark? Friend is on holiday down in area and wants to come to show. Her perants are bringing her upto the showground, will they have to meet us outside the gates or will her dad be able to drive in (and out again!)

The ground is fine Rox, there were a couple of muddy bits today but they put gravel down.
We had a car park pass, but no one looked at it, probably best to go when the rush is on in the morning, they were having to get the cars off the road quickly so no one was looking at the passes,
Forecast is good. You can look it up on www.bbc.co.uk/weather
Good Luck tomorrow.

Ahhh I couldn't get to veiw your reply. In the end everything worked out just fine. Weather was nice, except at 8:30 in the morn when boy get wet in long gras and muddy walking over dusty ground....He was not impressed with his clean up.....

I remember when I went two years ago and mine jumped in the pond in the car park. Not a good way to start a show :)

We took Barbie showed onSunday got second in Post Grad, then hubby took a dicky turn and ended up in Lymmington Hospital for 2 days, sent home on the provision he rested before a hospital appiontment now he thinks he is off to Wales'
