Hopefully the local Police station will have some news, if not, try calling your local radio station, I know it's a long shot but if they put it out somebody may be able to help, fingers crossed!!!!

Good Luck.

I hope you've found him now - you could also try your local vet surgerys....

If you haven't found him yet try, contacting the local police, vets surgeries, local radio, newspaers and put up posters with a picture of your dog on them.

Another good idea is to walk along the routes you normally take when walking your dog, they are creatures of habit to an extent, and regard their walk area as part of their territory, so will often follow those routes.

Good Luck hope you find him soon.

The responsibility for lost and stray dogs lies with the local authority so you will need to contact the dog warden service (though most onlyoperate office hours Monday to Friday, but you can leave a message).  Check with the local Dogs home and ask the Police who the temporary holding kennels are over weekends for the local authority.
