Quick question ? I've just found a small bottle of Hibiscrub - but it's 2 years old. Can I still use it or should I dump it ?? :)

Thanks

It should have a date on it? I'm sure its fine but I would get another JIC!

The date says that it's two years old - it was from the vets :) No use by date :)

Interesting...........

Nope sorry cant help then :p How about ring the vet and ask? Although they will probably say 'nope, it's bad come buy a new one' :p Just for a little extra cash :D

Haven't really had much need for it, so not worth buying any new. I normally just use salt water if any minor things :D

I was given hibiscrub for my dogs paw when he had stitches,Can it be used on minor cuts and scratches other than feet?Or is hydrogen peroxide better?

I always keep Hibiscrub for such things Shedog. I would bin it Daisy as it's cheap enough to buy from the chemist.  I find it very effective (as per another recent thread) and its often prescribed by vets at great cost, far in excess of the £3 per 500ml it costs.

I would not have thought it goes off but even if it does you can use it for sniffing :-)
