I've just inherited a car. It's 15 years old and only done 16,500 miles. Now the problem is that it is a saloon. No good for dogs, then ;)

I've seen what I could only call 'dog suits' that look like pyjamas , or something similar. What I would like to know is have any of you got one for your dogs, and if so, just how much do they keep the dog hairs in? I really don't want to put the dogs into this car unless I have to, and wondered if this type of thing would work

I don't want to keep the car, but it is such a good drive that I don't want to get rid of it either. ;) My estate car is on it's last legs, and I can't afford to replace it just yet.
