I picked up a copy of local free ads today (looking for some hens :) ) and was, as always, compelled to take quick look at dog pages. As ever, it was a painful procedure.....so many badly bred dogs etc. How ever there was a new section for advertising dogs at stud.....have to say my gut reaction was NO!! but does anyone else have thoughts on this? I was a bit surprised to see a champdog email address for one of the dogs :(

I agree Sam.  I feel that anyone advertising a stud dog is aiming for pet puppies.  A bitch owner who is involved with their breed, whether showing, working, obedience, agility etc would know exactly where to go, or know an experienced person to ask where to find the best stud dog for their bitch.
