What are the symtoms, my dogs have just come out of kennels after 1 week, and 2 of them were kind of sneezing as if something in their nasal channels, 3rd one fine no probs, the one also had a bit of nasal discharge for approx 24 hrs, (not constant) checked with vet who said it could be a mild case of kennel cough, or an allergy to disinfectment or pollen, my younger dog is due to be shown this weekend so checked with vet if ok as do not want to cause probs to other exhibitors and was told could show her if not displaying typical classical symptoms. I have bought Benylin for them and they are all fine and bouncing in good health but my main worry is my upcoming show, DEFINATELY do not want to infect any dogs at the show, what do other people think even though my vet has given me the all clear, don't mean to sound paranoid but just concerned about other peoples dogs.
Thanks

Please don't take your dog to a show even if he is not exhibiting signs of it, he could still carry the infection and pass it on. I always remember when i worked at kennels when i was young (about a million years ago now) i took the infection home to our dogs as it could be carried on clothing and as stated it could be fatal for elderly dogs and young puppies.
