You have me worried now Leigh! What padlock!

There are only 21 of my breed entered, and at least six of those entered are from UK, and one from USA!

There are 60 bracchi entered, 4 from the UK and very few from Italy :-( For some reason the dutch KC in its wisdom, decided that bracchi should all be shown together and not split into the colours. That hasn't gone down to well in certain quarters.

Shows in europe tend not have 'benching' as we know it. They usually use large, heavy, floor based cages. The padlocks are to stop dogs being stolen, if you need to leave your dog unattended.The cages also come in very useful for storing bags and valuables, whilst you are in the ring. Hopefully, more stringent checks will be made on dogs exiting this show, but it is not unusual for dogs to be stolen at european dog shows.

So don't forget your padlock :-)

Wish I'd thought more about this show as I'd quite liked to have gone to spectate :-( Oh well there's always next year :-) Does anyone know where the results are likely to be found on the internet?

I emailed the secretariat. I did mention that I write breed notes and wanted the info for my readers! they broke down the entry by class, but wouldn't tell me how many from which country, but I know of the six from here and 1 from USA for sure!

PS Leigh we never leave our dogs alone, we usually team up with someone so there is always somebody with the dogs.

I never leave my dogs alone either :-) but I know many that do, forewarned is forearmed.
