Hi,
I was just wondering if anybody can help or knows if this is right, we had a SBT she is over a year old now but she keeps coming into season every 5 -6 months, is this correct?
she is getting it everywhere, we was going to have her spayed but the vet told us to let her settle a little after her season before we have it done, before we knew it she was back in season again, time goes by so fast we didnt even realise it had been that long, any info?
thanks

Sounds about right, in Cavs 6 months is said to be the average but I have heard of anything between 3 months and 12!!

Anything from 4 to 12 month interals would be normal.  Often teh intervals settle at a slightly longer time apart than the first few.  I have a bitch here who is not two yeat and had 4 seasons by april.

You should count 2 1/2 months from the START OF THIS LAST SEASON and get her spayed then as it will then be about half way.
