Does anyone know of any dog shows coming up in the South of England where there will be a variety of dogs to see and to talk to breeders and owners etc?  We are considering buying a cavalier king charles and wanted to know some more information before we do.  Also the black and tan colour seem to be quite rare; anyone who owns one? Thanks

If you contact The Southern Cavalier Club http://www.cavalier.info/clubs/southern/, the secretary will tell you about any club shows in your area.  You'll meet more dogs/owners at a club show than at an all breeds open show.

Richmond Cahmpionship show will ahve Hounds and toy breeds on show on Saturday 10th September at Losely Park near Guildford.

I have a black and tan ..not so much rare but hard to get nice....

Toy day at Bournemouth next Saturday 13th - if you mean that far south? I have Cavaliers but only particolours, and haven't bred yet (if at all!!). And as Val says, the Southern club secretary should be able to help. Congratulations on picking the best breed!! :-)
