Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / Fish Diet?
- By Chloe and Bufy [gb] Date 05.08.05 18:08 UTC
One of buffys many personal triats is a dodgy tummy and faussy feeding habits, however after 5 days of not eating and blood tests on monday (awaiting results) the vets said to try white fish and potatoe, we tried it  and 4 days later she loves it, first time ever she has told me its dinner time, got excited about food and demolished it in one go and licked the bowl clean for a few mins after.

Her stools are good and solid though a little pale as well as regular, if this continues how can I do a balanced fish diet, she wont eat rice.

Has anyone else found this?

many thanks

Chloe

There are several fish and potato/tapioca commercial diets on the market.  Capelin and tapioca is a popular choice for many.

Wafcol does a couple of different fish based diets but not sure off the top of my head if they have a white fish and potato one.  I've used their salmon and potato diet with very good results :)

HTH, Teri :)
