A friend has a 6 month old puppy (short-coated) who has juvenile acne - i.e. spots around her chin.  Some years ago, I had it in one of my puppies and a particular antibiotic was prescribed for her which cleared it up in 3 weeks - trouble is, I can't remember which one it was!  Can anyone help, or does anyone have any other suggestions about how to get rid of it?  My friend is currently bathing it in mild salt-water solution and applying Aloe Vera Gel.

Hi, my pup had acne a while ago and i was given Fuciderm Gel by the vet to put on for a few days. It didnt seem to do much though, and it has been healing up by itself. He still has a few spots on his chin. If your friend just keeps an eye on it to make sure it doesnt get infected, then it should clear up on its own. :-)

See of your friend can get some Aloe drinking juice as well, so that it is working from the inside as well as applying the gel to the outside. It certainly helped my Dobermann.
