I heard him on Jeremy Vines show at lunchtime on Radio 2 - what an inspriation, especially to those who think that suing and getting loads of money will bring them happiness......

The Beeb are going to follow him for the next year as he recovers which I think is excellent better than all the fly on the wall documentaries I think no matter what others may say we have some very remarkable young people in the UK

I read his story in the paper this morning and commented to OH what a brave, inspirational man he is.

It's so easy to forget that life really is a gift and that we shouldn't take anything for granted. Instead of feeling sorry for himself, he is grateful that he didn't die, what a fantastic outlook he has :cool:

Makes everyday moans in life seem rather petty doesn't it.

His attitude reminded me of the words spoken by Jesus on the cross - 'Father forgive them, for they know not what they do'.

I hope this young man goes on to have a happy and contented life.
