Hi, I would like to rehome a Westie but unsure where to contact.  Are there any contacts in Northern Ireland or Scotland?  I had a Westie for 14 years but unfortunately he died last November and I miss the little doggie so much.  I could buy another pup but I would prefer to give an older dog a loving home and a very good life.  
Has anyone any info on this.

Are you in N.Ireland? If so, you could try ringing around the shelters...I know a lady who rang the shelters and asked them to let her know if the got a Westie in. A few weeks later she got a call from Assisi (Bangor) to say that an old lady was having to give up her little Westie due to her ill health. The shelter put the two people in touch wth each other and the westie was rehomed without ever having to be taken into the shelter at all. Might be worth a try?
