hi i am thinking of getting a staff but dont know which type to get an english,irish or american. there seams to be a lot of americans about on the free ads but with no papers how will i know if they are pure bred and is there a way i can tell an american form an irish i now the english are smaller can any one help

The best type to get is a happy healthy puppy from a good breeder who KC registers their puppies, try and get in touch with a Staffordshite Bull Terrier breed club they will be able to help if you look under the breed section on the main champdogs homepage and look up breed clubs there should be details there.

also click on staffordshire bull terrier on champdogs and goto puppies,they have them there.will it be a show dog or pet?don't rush into buying the first one you see.I bought a staff over a year ago but she was'nt kc reg.Don't get me wrong she his a cracking dog but more i got into them i wanted to show so i ended up getting another.Don't pay stupid money for blues. good luck
