Saw two lovely Cockers at the weekend who the owner said came from a breeder in Cardigan bay. have been unable to find one on the web, can anyone please help

You are best to locate a breeder via the Cocker Spaniel Club whose members breed to a code of conduct.  Unfortunately, due to it popularity, the Cocker is a breed beloved of the puppy farmer, ill educated and other wise disreputable breeder and these should be avoided at all cost if you want of good tempered, lovable, healthy companion by your side for many years.

Or try an American cocker, much rarer and therefore not as prone to puppy farming, but wonderful companions. Sorry, just a plug for my 2nd favourite breed! :-)

By all means try the American :) but please pursue a puppy in the same manner as no breed is free of the disreputable breeder.

cocker spaniels are lovely If you go to the above link and find the regional breed club they should help you find a puppy :) read the website it gives loads of info on cockers :)
