I am looking for a family pet,in the past we have always had Yorkshire Terriers. I am now looking to buy another one after the death of our beautiful Raffie. However I would not like to buy a brand new puppy,I am looking for a slightly older pup, from about 6months upwards, this may prove to be a problem,I feel,as breeders like to have sold their litter before the innoculations are due-or those I have encountered do.
I would prefer a bitch, and my budget is in the region of £300-£350.a bit optemistic of me perhaps, but I am not a breeder, and have no intention of becomming one,I am simply looking for a family pet.I dont believe in supporting puppy farms,so searching for a reputable, and genuine breeder is my only option.
If there is anyone who can help or point me in some sort of direction then you can contact me on my email address- oldmotherhubbert@hotmail.co.uk.
I look forward to hearing from someone in the near future.
yours sincerley,
Mrs.Hubbert

Hi,
You would be best looking for an older pup from the various Yorkshire Terrier breed clubs, addresses can be found
here
http://www.the-kennel-club.org.uk/ under Breed Standards, Toy Breeds, Yorkshire terriers. The club secretaries will have contacts for breeders and Breed Rescue. Sometimes breeders will have kept a pup for showing that for some reason isn't quite good enough (for show ;) ) but will make a wonderful pet :) or they may have one returned through change of circumstances. Remember tho that pups aren't available at all times (from good breeders) and you may have to wait, but it will be well worth it :)
