Hi, you are best to contact the Scottish Beagle Club at - http://scottishbeagleclub.org.uk/html/contacts.html. I have also listed the Secretary contact details below aswell.

I'm sure you already know this but don't buy a puppy from a Puppy Farm, Pet Shop or on the internet. Go to a Reputable Breeder and make sure you see the Mother with all the puppies if it's possible see the father aswell. Get all the information you can from the breeder and ask lots of questions a Reputable will be more than happy to answer any questions you have.

The Kennel Club also have a Puppy Sales list that has current list of Breeders see this link - http://www.the-kennel-club.org.uk/.

One last thing, if you have never owned a Dog before a Beagle is not an ideal first dog, you need to have plently of time and patience to bring up a happy and well behaved Beagle.

Goodluck

Got to agree about being patient.  They are so lovely natured and very pleasant to be with but I swear if my one does one more wee in the living room it will be a stuffed beagle :)

One thing about going to the KC register is that they do not vet them in anyway so you still do not have any idea who you are buying from.  It would be better to go to the breed clubs.  Even if you just want one for a pet you still want them to be a nice well bred one.

Good luck.

i totally agree with the patience needed, mine has definately stretched mine today. He has been raiding the laundry basket and my bra has been rescued from his mouth about a million times. lol! TTs you have to agree that when they go all soppy and cuddly you forget all the naughty stuff and theiving in my boys case. He is such a theif when we had to give him tablets we told him to leave them so he would take them. They are such characters, anyway training tomorrow lol.

I think they are adorable and Lucky has got this way of being a total worm when she has done something wrong so I forgive her anything.  Those big eyes and silky ears are enough to melt any heart. :)
