We need to replace Idõ's crate as he now too tall to stand comfortably in it(he currently only is on there at night when we think he might still get into mischief!!) but we don't really want a massive crate taking up half of the living room :D But all the taller crates I have looked at have also been really wide and long as well as high. I know they make taller crates for little dogs but what about tall but thin dogs?!!
Any ideas appreciated a to where I might be able to find one :)

What about a colapsable one? We have a big crate but it folds down flat when not in use, so is not a perminant bosticle in the house. BTW ours is the metal type - I have seen large dogs learn to roll the material ones!!

Yes we have a fold down too, and it needs to metal as I'm not sure if he would be tempted to chew one of those fabric ones when nobody was watching :D

Emily I don't know if this will be of any use to you but a company called Hampster Baskets will make a crate to your own specs and they are not too expensive. Look on their web site www.hamsterbaskets.co.uk.
