My vet is considering trying this treatment on my 12 year old corgi.as she is showing signs of Cognitive Dysfunction Syndrome. Has anyone else had experience of using this drug? If so, was it successful? and how long did your dog stay on it?. As I understand from reading the literature,the effects are pretty dramatic in about 70% of cases in the first few weeks. C.D.S.is very similar to dementia in people, so though I do not expect a CURE, it would be very good if it would help to alleviate some of her symptons.
