Reading Bertbeagles post made me remember to ask:
Does anyone know of any up and coming shows, open, companion or otherwise in the Yorkshire, down to Newark, area, that will do the silver and gold tests please. Failing that, is there any dog training clubs that do them on a regular basis, again in the above areas.

I think you can only do the bronze award at a show - I'm sure you would have to go to a training club to do the silver and gold. (Edited to add that I have just read on another post that someone did their gold at an open show....DOH!!!) If you go on to the Kennel Club website, you can request info on training clubs and they will be able to send you a list of local clubs who offer the Good Citizen scheme as not all training clubs do.

I do the good citizen awards with my dogs - its great fun so i hope you enjoy it :-)
