Hi everyone,

my pups are now a little over a week old and im a bit concerned, everything has been fine so far but now when the pups are doing the toilet it just looks like milk

has anyone experienced this or should i just take them straight to the vet?

I would expect the solid motions to be the consistency of toothpaste and be yellow like English mustard.  If they are watery and very smelly then the Vet is needed a spups can go down hill very fast.

let us know how you get on at the vets if you decide to take them! :) hope its nothing to serious.

I did take them to the vet - better safe than sorry,

Vet thinks its probably something mum ate and has changed the milk - the only thing different was kiara took a bite out of my friends donut (without being offered) and she had a piece of black pudding but other than that she has had the same food for ages.

The pups have been given some liquid antibiotic to have for the next 3 days.  and she thinks they are doing well they are approx 2 pounds now so they are good sizes.

bt vet thinks they will be ok
