I have a 0ne year old bassett who was spayed 2 weeks ago,she was off colour for about 6 days ,but would not eat her usual dried food so she was having chicken and other cooked meats, this did not go down well and gave her the runs ,so for the last couple of days shes been on dog meat and she is now being sick eating the dog meat, i have also left her dried food out but she shows no intrest, today however she cant even keep water down.... is this all due to change of diet or poat op problems ...please help.....

how old was your dog as i have since heard different stories as the best age to spay your dogs.
I wouldn't be waiting until tomorrow to see my vet.
If she is bringing back water then she is going to dehydrate very quickly.
I had this when my dog had a blockage and he had to be put on a drip before they could operate as he was on the points of his system shutting down through dehydration.
The very least I would do is to phone the on call vet to tell them the situation.

I wouldn't wait that long either. Think you need to be asking the vet was there any problems when tubing the dog as maybe there's been damage to the throat??
This isn't normal and you really need to be doing something now.
Just read the time, hope all went well at the vets today.
