Hi,
I had a durabed for my staff that was excellent especially when he was a pup as it didn't mean i had to wash his bed if he ever had an accident. It also raises them off the floor which is good for cold winter nights. They can't go in the washing machine they can only be wiped down, but they are made out of a type of canvas suitcase material so are quite easy to wipe clean. They are advertsed as being virtually indestructable which i would have to disagree with as my dogs bed ended up being quite frayed where he chewed around the top, saying that it lasted longer than any other bed he's ever had (he does love a good chew) !!! If you do decide to go for a durabed make sure you research the price, i think i paid about £26 for a medium bed but i saw them for sale on some sites for around £45.
