Just wondering what type of dog blankets everyone uses. I currently use big, fleecy ones, but no matter how much i wash or shake them i still cant get the dog hair out!! It seems to bury itself into the blanket and wont come out!! I dont even have a very hairy dog!! ;-)

Does anyone use anything that is easier to clean? Or know somewhere i can look for any?? Thanks in advance. I dont want to resort to taking the sticky tape to them!!! :D :D

Stick it in a tumble dryer. Never fails to remove the hair. :)

I use vet bed - it's fab.  You can hoover all the hairs off and it's dry in minutes after you've washed it.

When we got Molly we purchased a fleece one from next. It is fab and 2.5 years later is still amazing. They did have some on their web site in the sale at half price too (That was my excuse for a new one!!)LOL.

Just thought I'd add that she was our first dog so we did spoil her hence Next dog blanket. The younger one got vet bed (We do love them both the same though)

Thanks, the blankets are in the tumble drier right now, and i have just ordered some lovely big Vet Bed!! :D Just going to have a peek at the Next website and see if they have anything on there too!! :-) ....might even have a look for some bargins for myself too ;-)

Try Marks and Spencers, I bought my Staffi a fleece blanket from there 3 years ago and it is still like new despite Rambo trying to pinch it off me when it's time for it to go in the washer!

I put lint grabber balls in the washing machine whenever I wash any of Poppy's bedding or the throws from the sofa.  They're brilliant at collecting dog hairs and human hairs!
