my 14 week old lab puppy woke this morning at 0530 i checked her and she had been sick in her bed. i let her out and she piddled constantly and did so for hours, there was small amounts of blood in her urine..and her poo was quite runny but she was in good form. i took her to the vet who said she had cystitis after taking a sample. he gave me tablets to give her 2 times a day. i brought her home and she would not eat anything and has been very sleepy since and no interest in anything just lying in her wee bed. she will not eat anything but has drank a small amount of water, the vet advised me to change her food. i am going to try her on hills puppy food but at the minute she will not eat it or the food i had her on which was a semi moist food. i have made her scrambled egg but she will not eat a thing and i cant get her interested in anything..can anyone please help or advise me

You could try putting some glucose in her water (1 tablespoon per pint) for now and this will help keep her going until she's ready to eat, cystitis can make anyone feel very poorly ;) Once she's a bit more interested in food, scrambled eggs, BioYoghurt, some Nature diet would probably be a bit more tempting than dry biscuits until she's back on her feet. If she doesn't like the Hills (did the vet recommend it or sell it to you? ;) ;) ) then you could try James Wellbeloved Puppy or Burns Puppy - both are equally as good as Hills (Personally I think they are better, but thats just my opinion :) )
Hope this helps

Which variety of Hills did he say to buy? Was it a special diet?
Both Burns and JWB are reasonably priced - small bag is about £5.99, larger sacks work out cheaper :) and both are easily digested
