Hi
My husband has decided this morning thathe wants to take the children away for a few days over the hols, which is greast but the only snag is we have dogs, but when we normally go away they stay with friends but they have just had a baby.
So i was hoping someone out there might come up with a pace they know where you can take your animals with you. I think there is a book or placed recommended to take animals, so going to look for that today.
any help would be great
Hi guest - depends where you want to go really. We've taken our dogs on lots of self catering holidays in different places around Britain.
If you type the place name and 'dogs welcome' into google you'll probably find a few sites to check out.
Centre parcs allow dogs. Many self catering places also do, especially log cabins. Some caravan parks will also allow dogs. I am going to Warminster soon for a long break, lots to do activities wise there, there is also longleat house and safari park too. Lots of great walking routes that your dog would adore :)
Hope that helps.

Don't know where you live or where you're planning to go, but try looking for dog friendly cottages around Grassington, near Skipton in Yorkshire. We have just returned from there, and it is the most dog friendly village I have ever been in. Everyone seemed to have dogs, and there were bowls out on the streets for drinks, and they were allowed in nearly all the shops, cafes and restaurants - wonderful!
Hi
Look on this website
www.dogstrust.org.uk/information/dogfriendlyvenues
(sorry can't do links) copy and paste
You need to select the area and the type of accomodation and recommended places come up. Really good as actual experience is better than advertising.
Good luck
