Just wondered how many of you do both?
I was thinking ( I really mean just thinking) of having a go just for a bit of fun, fresh air and excercise. I am very unfit though so would need to do the easy ones. I have 2 nights that I go to ring craft class taking different dogs each day but would possibly sacrifice one of these nights to try the obedience. ( if I had a 3rd night out with the dogs on top of my weekends and middle of the night grooming seasons I may end up divorced :-D )

I participate in several disciplines, mainly WT, although my dog has won in the breed ring at Ch level, and been placed in agility etc..
I do obedience and ringcraft, but obedience is my main class as i think obedience is more important (to me) than ringcraft, thats just for fun and if Blue ends up in the ring one day then thats brilliant! Also the socialisation side of classes is great :)

I do both with my boys, have only competed in obedience with fagan at companion shows though just for a bit of fun, I havent yet contemplated entering him into a proper show - when I do post on here asking about proper obedience shows someone please slap me round the face before they cart me off to the funny farm

I do both obedience and showing. The obedience take a lot more dedication and training than the showing, but I enjoy both, just very different days out.

ps The Champ shows are better in wet weather :)

I do pet obedience, ie the Good Citizen scheme, and showing.

I show and do obedience and agility. Showing is least important to me - we just show to meet people :)
Dogs are well capable of differentiating between disciplines so doing multiple doesn't cause a problem.

I do, or rather my dogs do as I do the obedience side and hubby handles at the shows as I hate that. :)

I think I will look into it :-) .. it may get me a bit fitter as my bum is still sore on my bike ;-)
Ahhh, lunges and squats are what you need for a firm bum! :D
