After what seems like a very long wait we finally brought our newest addition home last night. She is an 18 month old rehome Shiba Inu called Miami.Although very timid at the moment she is settling in well with the other hooligans and has enjoyed lots of cuddles on the OH's lap :d

Aaaawwww, congratulations Archer! :D I am sure she will settle in, in no time!! :-)

Awe, how lovely. Good luck with her, I'm sure she'll be one of the family in no time. Always like to hear of a dog getting a second chance :)
Any pictures yet that you'd like to share?

LOL....don't think the boys are jealous....in love maybe!!!!!! Zara has her nose a bit out of joint at the min...but then thats nothing unusual for the spoilt little madam! :d
Nikki

Oh Archer, she is a little beauty!! I hope she has many happy years with you :)

That is so funny as Bryony picked up Brodies 8 week old daughter on Friday, and both her boys (Dad and Cousin) think she is fab, and any squeak and they rudh over to protect her from the imaginery ogre.
The girls on the other hand (I Elkhound the other a collie Huntaway cross) refuse to acknowledge her existence and have made themselves very scarce hoping against hope it will go away soon :D
can i see pics too? pleassse. :)

Hi Nikki
My two shiba's would love a look at your new addition please - Lennon is already considering dating Zara when he's all grown up! I think Roxy is a bit too old for him LOL
Cheers

We think so...she is such a sweety!! Have been waiting for a while with no luck and then get offered 2!! The other was a white male who I would have loved but think this little girl will fit in better with my mob

I know what you mean Nikki - I am still waiting for one, and have, since registering after losing Ted, now got Lennon and have still not heard of a rescue......I suppose that's really good news for the breed ! :)

How ridiculous is that? However, as Lennon is only 9 months, I don't think I'd better take on another young'un. Poor old Roxy will freak - she's only just getting used to L. Whereabouts is he do you know? I have to admit I'm tempted........

I know he's back with his breeder....don't know where that is though. He'll be fine now hes back there....I was very tempted cos I love the whites but thought Yammi would fit in better with my mob!
Archer
