OK so the swimming in London's been sorted out - but I don't live there anymore...:-) So - where do Northamptonshire doggies swim? I'm so terrified about the blue-green algae thing that mine don't at the moment..:-( Is there anywhere that's genuinely safe?

I used to let the dogs in Pitsford resevoir, some parts are better than others though.  Mine are happy with the puddles at Harlestone firs now though as I don't have any 'swimmers' at the moment.

There is also Brixworth Country Park but I don't know what the water's like.

The pond at Bradlaugh fields looks a bit 'off' to me but I have seen plenty of dogs in it.

Maggie has been in the lake at Rectory Farm, but I'm not sure if it's safe now the weather's hotter..(was..) also there are baby ducklings and quite often fishermen...

I'm in Long Buckby. Used to live in Duston and would take our lab to Delapre to swim (I think it's called Delapre, used to live in MK so not that good with Northampton place names!)
