hi there i recently found out that my female is pregnant and as it was a first time thing my male basically hit the jack pot but i would like to advertise him as a stud dog and i was wondering what this entails.what age do they have to be and what sort of price would the owner of the bitch have to pay.he is also kc registered.

Have a read of the first post on the Breeding forum of this site (entitled "Should I use my pet dog at stud?")

He will of course have to have a good hip-score as well as be eye-tested by a specialist. As should all bitches he serves - including yours!
