my bitch is in season and will be taken to the stud dog next week. i was going to give her a bath using mild baby bath so she feels clean and looks nice for her date.  ive been told though not to wash her because she is 'open' but i wanted some opinions.
am i ok to bath her or should i not bother.

I have always bathed my American Cockers weekly as normal, even during seasons, and prior to mating.
