hereBasically, if you are handstripping a Cocker you do not clipper anywhere at all. Thinning scissors are used under the throat & down to the breast bone, under the tail & underneath the ears. If the leg hair is really thick, you could also use thinners to thin the hair out there. Scissors are also used to tidy up the feet & clear excess hair away from inside the ears.
