Hi, wondered if I could pick your brains out there :) I know there are audio tapes about that you can play to your young puppies with noises like fireworks, thunder storms etc. I've been searching on the net but can only find ones included in very expensive packs...does anyone know where I could find a tape like this at a reasonable price? My adult dogs don't worry about fireworks, storms, hoover or anything else and I wanted to make sure my new litter were as good when they leave home and go off into the big wide world! Thanks for any advice :)

My mother got one from her vet. There was a pack, but that was vital to understand the principle of them, and how to introduce the tape/CD. There's a very careful programme of use over a period of several weeks.
:)
there is a Cd on petplanet for £12.99. The item number is 4335 and it is called crash bang wallop. You can have original or firework.

Thanks to everyone for the advice, Caz that site is brilliant and just what I was looking for - thanks very much. I'll start playing those sounds very quietly in the background once the pups can hear and gradually - very gradually increase the volume. Once the puppies are weaned and are keen to eat I'll play the noises while feeding them. So, if Pavlov is correct then when it comes to bonfire night my puppies will be perfectly happy - sitting drooling looking for food...... :) :) :)
