please could someone give me some advide!We purchased a four month old golden retriever from a elderly lady who couldnt cope,we noticed she had red stains where her eyes kept running when this lady kindly sent photos of her as a tiny puppy we realized this was a problem she had for some time.We took her to the vets and pointed out the problem staight away and he has tried her on antibiotics and on antiflamatory drops but nothing seems to be working he doesnot think she has any extra eye lashes,so has anyone had similar problems please could you let me know,thank you

She may have narrow tear ducts, sometimes pups grow out of this, but others need surgery.  Get your vet to put some yellow drops in her eyes, the yellow should come out of her nose quite quickly, if it doesn't then it proves her tear ducts are either blocked or very narrow.
