Can anyone give me details of a Mobile Groomer in the Cambridgshire area?
Why a mobile one ?
There are a couple of good non-mobile ones in cambs, depending on where abouts you are.
Lynda Doherty ( spelling ) at fields view kennels is good, theres also Tine & Ness at the aggri. college in Milton & theres also a really nice Lady called Julie i think Kingslynn way ....

Guest, in my experience, you really would be better to find a recommended parlour. Anybody who is busy (and they will be if they are good at their job!) won't have the time to spend travelling on the road. They could be trimming another dog in the time that they are travelling and carrying all their equipment indoors!! ;)

I've heard of mobile groomers who have their van set up as a parlour and doing the grooming in there!

JG, I've seen the results of one of those franchise vans, who bathed a neutered Cavalier (very hairy) complete with matts hanging like grapes under its ears, dried it, returned it to its owner and took £20 from them!!! They told the owner that they were not trained to 'cut dogs' (always makes me smile ;) only to bath and dry pet dogs!
The man turned up to be, without an appointment and said "Please can I grovel. I'll do anything if you'll give us another appointment. My wife thought that she would be saving £7 but now we realise just what you do........"

Doesn't one of the blokes who was on Taransay for that Castaway series have a mobile grooming van?

LOL Val, do you remember someone put a picture on another site and it has bit scissored all over. For once I was speechless :-)
I will say just one thing i dont know where abouts you are in cambridgeshire but do not allow the mobile from Isleham to do your dogs. I wont go into why on a public forum but not good!!! Why dont you ask someone to collect your dog from one of the parlors most do collection and delivery if travelling is a problem.
