Please be careful when buying a blue staffy,so called breeders are asking stupid money for blue pups,do not pay anymore than £400-£500 and make sure that both parents are health screened.Your best bet is to get in touch with the staffordshire bull terrier club.The info for stafford breed clubs can be found on the kennel club site.

i just bought a blue staff pup, i tried calling some breeders but they werent helpful at all!
they all didnt like/breed blues as apparently their just a bad mix of blacks?!?!?
i had to drive for 3 hours their + nearly 4 back + pay £800 for my baby.

A blue in the stafford is a washed out black,it comes through years of breeding black to black,it is the same with reds continually breeding red to red produces fawn colours,washed out reds.DON'T MEAN TO BE RUDE BUT YOU HAVE PAID OVER THE TOP FOR YOUR PUP.

oh well - too late to moan now!!
all the blues up + down the country were £800 - £1000.

not all breeders charge £800 - 1000 for blues, only the uncaring moneygrabbing ones, sorry to sound harsh but you have been well and truly ripped off, I know a reputable breeder who sells all their puppies for the same price and they have blues in some of their litters
