was wondering if anyone out there(especially from scotland) has purchased an alystone old tyme bulldoggue recentley was wondering if u have any pics as to wot these guys should look like i have seen various pics
from other online breeders i.e. mosseler and dorset however my dog appears to look more american bulldog all be it he has a few wrinkles contacted the actual breeders with lineage detail and advised of dogs make up was wondering how large u puppy may be as well as mines is 4mths and already abt a foot high so guys anyone with pics please get in touch ,dont get me wrong though comments passed abt him all the time plus vet says hes in top condition ruled out anything like wobblers syndrome but i gave multi vits and cod liver oil and calcium tabs as soon as i got him only starting tio wean off calcium tabs

Its quite possible that your pup does look like an American Bulldog, as Alyestones used American Bulldogs in their lines, some of their dogs either have a very heavy Dogue De Bordeaux influence, or strong American Bulldog influence - Its normally one or the other.

You are very fortunate your puppy is in good health as others have not been so fortunate. There have been several cases of unhealthy stock from this mix of breeds, and the founder breeders, and when confronted with the problems they dont seem to want to know :-( not what I would call responsible breeding but lets hope things improve in the future.
