I am thinking of acquiring a 2.5yr bitch who has had a litter and a season since can anyone see a problem arising from having her spayed. Always had males before!

The best time to have her spayed would be half way between seasons, so make sure you know when her last oen was and what is the normal interval betwen them for her.

She should also be fit before having the op, and kept lean afterwards to minimise the side effects that can occur like urinary incontinence in later life.
