hi i am considering getting my dogs ear tatooed ,do you think its worth while ,does it hurt them any info on this would be great

I was thinking about getting mine done too, i dont really know much about it though and whether its worth it as they are chipped, I was thinking maybe it would be a good detterent for would be thieves.

All my dogs are tattooed - only one of them is chipped.

I think its a really brilliant idea, it might hurt them a tiny bit if atall our puppy was done and the breeder said they sat there licking the tattoist hands as they did it.

well ive got a bullmastiff who is nearly 7 months old so id better get it done sooner rather than later as the dogwarden was worried about microchipping him and he was only 3 1/2 months he brought someone with him because of his breed its stupid he was a pup
