that does seem like a lot of money to me. I took my pup on Friday as the vet diagnosed a eye and bladder infection. I was given antibiotics and eye drops and it only cost me £40 including the consultation. I am in the south east and prices would be higher here, but have never been charged that much when my previous dog had consultations and he had major problems with his ears which led to 5 operations. He did have a yeast thing in his ear at one point and a course of AB cleared it, think that also cost about £40. Have a word with the senior vet, or look around for another practice that the vets aren't so judgemental.
Hope he feels better soon.

I dont mind paying a decent consultation fee but that rate is sky high . today I took one of my pups to a different vets he gave her 2 injections and charged me just £22 including the injections I wouldent have minded paying double..even triple consultation fee, how can one vet do it so cheap yet the is so steep , and the cheaper one is a city vets so should have higher rates
