hi, one of my dogs was lightly shown as a puppy and we went out of showing and now shes 9 but as of her age she has a missing tooth at the front which fell out a while ago. i know this would have matterd a lot if she had bad teeth when she was younger but does this matter now in vetern classes as losing teeth happens to old dogs?

just wondering as id like to take her along with us to some shows with the puppies

Hi
If her other teeth are intact and she has a scissor bite then i doubt that at nine she would be penalised for a missing tooth.

In a Pomeranian it really wouldn't matter, it's wonderful that she has only lost 1 at that age, as they are well known to lose their teeth early.

her teeth are quite good for her age, shes always had a good mouth which is nice and clean. weve been lucky i suppose( with exeption to the 9 yr olds mum who has no teeth at all now shes 13 and an old pensioner lol) as iv heard poms teeth can start to fall out as young as 2.

i think ill take her to some open shows at the end of the year and maybe a ch show too as right now going out for walks in the sunshine has made her drop her coat she she looks a bit bare so no shows for her right now.
