I can find show results but when and where would the judges comments about the dog be? He recorded his comments but i cant find the write up anywhere

You will need to buy Dog World or Our Dogs to see the judges write ups.  They can take weeks or even months to appear.

And sometimes they don't appear at all :( :(

i thought the kc had made a ruling saying all judges must send a report to one of the dog papers, so your crits maybe in one paper or the other ,and they all had to be submitted within 3 months of a show,
unless i just thought i read it somewhere.

From July 2005(ie judging contracts accepted from 1st July 2005 onwards)the KC R&R F(1)3.59/22.c states:

<All judges at Championship Shows & Open Breed Club Shows must produce a written critique for the first two placings in each class & will dispatch these to at least one of the weekly United Kingdom Canine journals>(my bold lettering)there is no time limit given tho'

And of course it doesn't cover the critique being sent in and not published by the paper!  I always check both papers and a few critiques have 'gone missing' :(  whether not sent in or not published I don't know, I would have to speak to the judges (and I don't know them :rolleyes:

Exactly - so how will the KC know?

My other gripe about the printing (or not) of critiques in the dog press is at an open show, if RBOB comes from second place in a class, it does not get a printed critique, but the ones who it beat but got first, do :(
