Hello Just wanted if anyone out there (all you doggy owners) knows anything about the Frampton Country Fair which is being held on 11 september 2005 I will be holidaying in the Cotswolds area in that week & wondered whether it would be worth my while venturing to this event?
My interest is in the gundog events. Regards Lizzy.

Oh go! Its just a few miles up the road from me and we make it a day out each year. Go early as there is a long straight road to get in and you queue for ages.
The gundog stuff is usually good - my springer won the scurry and second in the scramble the year before last, and the scurry the year before that! The scramble includes a boat ride across the lake with the dog in the boat which is fun! You end up with a wet bottom however you do it! The scurry is on the big lake and the other year we watched in horror as my boy disappeared for ages only to come out of the water with a stinking rotten rabbit and try very hard to deliver it to my sons hand. Gasps as the crowd dropped back several yards!!
There are lots of stalls with things to buy and a farmers market. As game fairs go, and believe me, I've seen 'em all, its good.
Let me know if you need to know anything else!
