I have two dogs at the minute - a 17 month old Lab X Chow and a 15 week old Newfoundland pup. Oh, and I live in Belfast. What about you? What dogs do you have and where are you?

Hi Cally
Although I am not from Northern Ireland I did my nurse training there in the 70's & my parents have retired back there (Newry). I go over for the whole of the school Summer Hols. I have 3 Yorkies & my Mum has 1.
Take Care
Helen

Hi Cally

My OH is from just ouside Armagh and we'll probably end up living there again in the future as there is loads of space to have more dogs! i know what you mean about trying to find shows etc although I know there is a champ show in September at the Kings Hall. We went last year just to spectate (and meet some Newfie owners).  We spent ages just wandering around, looking at all sorts of breeds and watching the agility competition.

Hi Cally

The Belfast Championship Dog Show is on 23-24th September. Hounds, Terriers and Gundogs are on 23rd with Utility, Working, Pastoral and Toys on 24th. Also, I notices on the Kings Hall website (www.kingshall.co.uk) that there is an All Breed Irish Championship show on 30th July (7.30am to 6pm) but i couldn't find anymore details about it.
