Hello to all, i am currently looking for a gun-dog trainer to train my 10 month old GSP. I would like to find a trainer with experience of GSP's who has the 'good' of the breed at heart. I also own an 8 year old GSP who is excellent in the field so as far as results go i'm pretty sure i know what i expect from a trained gun dog. I am a keen rough shooter and my preference would be for the dog to trained for this as opposed to the 'peg' as this is when a GSP is at his best. I live in the west country so i would love to find someone local-ish but i would travel for the right /recommended trainer. I've had dogs trained by Guy Wallace (if anyone knows of him!!) and the results have been excellent, but sadly Guy has moved to Scotland and thats too far for me to go.
